Bedlington Terrier Dog Clippers and Accessories
The Bedlington Terrier has the look of a lamb combined with the heart of a lion. It is named after the mining town of Bedlington in Northumberland and was originally bred to hunt vermin in the mines.
This calm and less boisterous terrier than most, is known for its good nature and mild manners and it is said to be one of the most reliable terriers and a loyal companion. ¬¬That said, the Bedlington terrier does not like to take the back seat during activities.
They love to be the center of attention and form close bonds with their families. They have a great sense of humour combined with such enthusiasm which makes them a lovable breed.
Always getting noticed due to their unique appearance and amusing antics. The Bedlington is not as sturdily built as some of the other terriers, nor do they share the terrier's typically straight coat. Their thick double coat stands out from the skin and tends to curl.
The coat however does not feel wiry like a traditional terrier and the overall texture can be dense and wooly. Although Bedlington’s shed very little hair, their coat grows quite curly and thick and can quickly become unmanageable if it is not looked after and clipped on a regular basis.
This heavily styled breed is clipped in such a way to help show off its distinctive features, emphasizing on the shape of the head followed by the elegant contours of the body.
About an inch of hair is left on their body with a little more hair being left on the head and legs. The Masterclip Bedlington Terrier dog clipper set is perfect to use as part of your regular grooming regime as it includes all the necessary dog grooming equipment for this breed of dog.
