This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10 blade, a #7 Skip Tooth blade and a #5 Skip Tooth blade, making it particularly well suited to the grooming needs of the Patterdale Terrier.

Patterdale Terriers have a dense, weather-resistant coat that may be smooth, broken or rough, depending on the individual dog. Their coats require regular grooming to remove loose hair, dirt and debris while keeping the coat healthy and manageable. Whilst many owners maintain the coat with regular brushing and hand-stripping where appropriate, some pet Patterdale Terriers are clipped for easier coat maintenance. This carefully selected blade combination is ideal for removing bulk coat and keeping the coat neat, tidy and practical between grooming sessions.

The #10 blade is ideal for close clipping work, making it perfect for the face, feet and hygiene areas, helping to create a clean, tidy finish where precision is essential. The skip tooth blades are designed to feed thicker, denser coats through the blade more efficiently, making them ideal for bulk coat removal and clipping through coats that may be slightly tangled or heavy.

Two cutting lengths are included in this Patterdale Terrier Set. The #7 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 3.2mm of coat, making it ideal for shorter body clips and removing dense coat efficiently, whilst the #5 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, allowing you to maintain a fuller finish while still tackling thicker coats with ease.
