What a Horse Trimmer Is For — Ears, Bridle Path, Legs & Fetlocks
- Ears — tidy the outer edge for a neat outline. Note: FEI rules (from 1 Jan 2025) prohibit removing hair from inside the ear rims on competition horses.
- Bridle path — a small clipped section behind the ears so the headpiece sits neatly.
- Legs & fetlocks — tidying feather, heels and the coronet band for a clean, defined leg.
- Face & jaw — neatening the jawline and cheeks for a tidy outline.
