Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE)
Masterclip are helping to recycle electrical equipment.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) is now law.
In the UK we dispose over 1.2 million tonnes of electrical waste every year. This is the equivalent of 150,000 double decker buses and would be enough to fill the new Wembley Stadium 6 times over.
Recycling electrical products helps to save our natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods into landfill. Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.
This new legislation means that suppliers of electrical equipment must allow consumers to return their waste electrical equipment free of charge. This means that Masterclip can accept your old clipper if you purchase your new model through us.
We will prevent your old clipper going into landfill by disposing of it safely however it must be returned to us within 1 month of purchasing your new clipper.
Please contact us should you wish to send in your old clippers.
