Cordless Horse Clippers
2 products
A cordless clipper earns its place the first time you clip a horse that won't stand near a cable, or work a yard with no power in it. The question is always whether it has the stamina for a full coat - and ours are built as heavy-duty machines first, cordless second. Both models below run A2 blades at 2,300RPM.

How long does the battery last on a cordless horse clipper?
How long does the battery last on a cordless horse clipper?
Each Li-ion battery gives approximately two hours of run time on horse clipping blades, and the HD Roamer comes with two - around four hours of clipping from a full charge. On livestock blades, run time is closer to one hour per battery.
Can I clip a whole yard on one charge?
Can I clip a whole yard on one charge?
That depends on how many horses and how much coat is coming off. What is worth planning for is the charge time: each battery takes three hours to recharge but runs for two, so two batteries won't rotate continuously. A third battery keeps you going.

Which blade should I use on a grey horse?

Can I use a cordless horse clipper on cattle or sheep?
Can I use a cordless horse clipper on cattle or sheep?
Yes, with the right blade. The HD Roamer Multiblade comes with both a horse clipping blade and a livestock blade, and is suitable for dagging sheep and dirty or show cattle as well as heavy-duty horse clipping.
Is a cordless clipper quiet enough for a nervous horse?
Is a cordless clipper quiet enough for a nervous horse?
Quieter than mains, and with no cable. Anti-vibration motor mounts keep noise and vibration down. No clipper that cuts through a winter coat is silent, but cordless removes the trailing lead and much of the noise.
