CLIPPING ADVICE

Safety First

If your clippers are mains powered, it is advisable to use them with a circuit breaker.

You may be putting your animal and yourself at risk if you do not use an RCD.

A residual current device, RCD, as pictured above, is an automatically operated electric switch designed to protect you and the animal you are clipping.

If the plug detects any electrical faults, it interrupts the flow of electricity and will turn your clippers off. The RCD can then be reset.

It is better to be safe than sorry, so we recommend that you use your animal clippers with an RCD that has a maximum rated residual operating current of 30 milliamps (mA).
