This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10F blade, a #7F blade and a #5F blade, making it particularly well suited to the grooming needs of the Basset Hound.

Basset Hounds have a short, dense, smooth coat that is relatively low maintenance but benefits from regular grooming to remove loose hair and keep the coat healthy. Whilst routine brushing is usually sufficient for general coat care, many owners choose to clip hygiene areas or tidy feathering around the feet where required. This carefully selected blade combination provides excellent versatility for hygiene clipping, tidying and achieving a smooth, professional finish when needed.

The #10F blade is ideal for close clipping work, making it perfect for the face, feet and hygiene areas, helping to create a clean, tidy finish where precision is essential. The full tooth (F) blades are designed to produce a smooth, even finish, making them ideal for body clipping and achieving a professional-looking result on shorter-coated breeds such as the Basset Hound.

Three cutting lengths are included in this Basset Hound Set. The #7F blade leaves approximately 3.2mm of coat, making it ideal for a shorter, neat body clip, whilst the #5F blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, allowing you to maintain a slightly fuller finish with a smooth, even appearance.

Favoured by professional groomers for producing a clean, uniform finish, full tooth (F) blades leave the coat looking neat and consistent after clipping.
