This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with two professional grade Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10F finishing blade and a #4 skip tooth blade, making it particularly well suited to the grooming and maintenance needs of both rough and smooth coated Border Collies.

The #10F blade leaves approximately 1.5mm of coat so is therefore ideal for close clipping work. Perfect for hygiene areas, paw pads and precision trimming, it helps create a clean, tidy finish where shorter coat lengths are required. 

The #4 skip tooth blade leaves approximately 9.5mm of coat, making it ideal for tackling thicker coat areas and managing heavily feathered rough coated Border Collies. The skip tooth design allows the blade to feed coat through more efficiently, helping it glide through dense feathering and undercoat while leaving a natural-looking finish. It is particularly useful for trimming the chest, legs, trousers and tail feathering, as well as for keeping the coat neat and manageable throughout the year.
