This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10 blade, a #7 Skip Tooth blade and a #5 Skip Tooth blade, making it particularly well suited to the harsh, weather-resistant coat of the Cairn Terrier.

Cairn Terriers have a coarse, wiry outer coat with a soft, dense undercoat that requires regular grooming to keep it tidy and free from tangles. Whilst show Cairn Terriers are traditionally hand-stripped to preserve coat texture and colour, many pet Cairns are clipped for easier coat maintenance. Whether maintaining a practical pet trim or tidying between grooming appointments, this carefully selected blade combination provides excellent versatility for routine grooming and coat management.

The #10 blade is ideal for close clipping work, making it perfect for the face, feet and hygiene areas, helping to create a clean, tidy finish where precision is essential. The skip tooth blades glide efficiently through the Cairn Terrier's dense, wiry coat, helping to remove bulk and work through thicker sections while leaving a smooth, natural finish.

Two cutting lengths are included in this Cairn Terrier Set. The #7 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 3.2mm of coat, making it ideal for shorter practical body clips and easy-care maintenance trims, whilst the #5 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, allowing you to maintain a slightly fuller finish while keeping the coat neat and manageable.
