This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with two high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10F blade and a #5F blade, making it particularly well suited to the grooming needs of the Chihuahua.

Chihuahuas can have either a short, smooth coat or a longer, softer coat depending on the variety. Both coat types benefit from regular brushing to remove loose hair, reduce shedding and keep the coat in good condition. Particular attention should also be given to keeping the feet, nails and hygiene areas clean and well maintained. Whilst a Chihuahua's coat is not typically clipped as part of routine grooming, owners may choose to clip hygiene areas, neaten the feet or carefully tidy longer areas where required. This carefully selected blade combination provides excellent versatility for hygiene clipping, tidying and other maintenance tasks where a clean, professional finish is desired.

The #10F blade leaves approximately 1.5mm of coat and is ideal for close clipping work, making it particularly useful for the feet and hygiene areas where precision and control are essential.

The #5F blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, providing a longer, smoother finish where trimming is appropriate. Its full tooth (F) design helps produce a clean, even result and is ideal for tidying areas where a little more coat length is preferred.
