Supplied with three high-quality professional Japanese Steel A5 blades – a #10F blade, a #7F blade and a #5F blade – this versatile grooming package provides everything needed for routine hygiene trimming, veterinary preparation and occasional clipping where required.

The #10F blade is ideal for close clipping and precision work around the face, feet and sanitary areas, helping to achieve a clean, hygienic finish. It is also invaluable for trimming around the paw pads and between the toes, making routine maintenance quicker, safer and more comfortable for your dog.

The Labrador Retriever has a short, dense, weather-resistant double coat that provides excellent protection from the elements. Labradors shed throughout the year, with significantly heavier moulting during the spring and autumn when the undercoat is naturally replaced. Regular brushing is essential to remove loose hair, minimise shedding and distribute the coat's natural oils, helping to keep the coat healthy, clean and glossy. Routine grooming should also include cleaning the ears, checking the paw pads, trimming excess hair between the toes where necessary and keeping the nails neatly trimmed. Clipping is not generally recommended for Labradors, as the double coat helps regulate body temperature and provides natural protection. For the best results, the coat should be thoroughly bathed, completely dried and brushed to remove loose hair before clipping. Particular attention should be paid to keeping the ears clean, the paw pads tidy and the nails well maintained. As a double-coated breed, the Labrador Retriever should not be routinely clipped, with regular brushing remaining the most effective way to control shedding and maintain the coat's natural insulating and protective qualities.
