The #10F blade is ideal for close clipping and precision work around the feet and sanitary areas, helping to achieve a clean, hygienic finish. It is also invaluable for trimming around the paw pads and between the toes, making routine maintenance quicker, safer and more comfortable for your dog.

The #4 blade leaves approximately 9.6mm of coat and is suitable for owners who need to remove a heavily matted coat or undertake a full body clip where appropriate. The fine-tooth finish produces a smooth, even result while leaving more coat than shorter blades.

For the best results, the coat should be thoroughly washed, completely dried and carefully brushed through to remove all knots, tangles and loose hair before clipping. Pomskies typically have a dense double coat inherited from their Siberian Husky and Pomeranian lineage, consisting of a soft, insulating undercoat and a longer outer coat. Regular brushing is essential to remove loose undercoat, prevent tangles and mats, reduce seasonal shedding and maintain healthy skin and coat condition. Clipping a healthy double coat is not recommended as part of routine grooming, as it can affect the coat's natural insulating properties and alter the coat's texture and regrowth.
