Silky Terrier Clipper Set - Cordless Max

Masterclip MAX Cordless Silky Terrier Dog Clipper Set

This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10F blade, a #4F blade and a #4 Skip Tooth blade, making it a versatile grooming solution for Silky Terriers requiring practical coat maintenance and shorter, more manageable trims.

The Silky Terrier has a fine, straight, glossy coat that requires regular brushing and grooming to prevent tangles and matting. Although traditionally kept long and flowing, many owners prefer a shorter, easier-to-maintain coat. This carefully selected blade combination provides excellent versatility for hygiene trimming, general body clipping and managing longer areas of coat.

The #10F blade is ideal for close clipping around the feet, paw pads and hygiene areas, providing a clean, precise finish.

The #4F blade leaves approximately 9.6mm of coat, making it ideal for general body clipping while achieving a smooth, even finish. It is particularly suitable for Silky Terriers requiring a practical, shorter pet trim.

The #4 Skip Tooth blade also leaves approximately 9.6mm of coat but features wider-spaced teeth to help feed longer coat through the blade. It is useful for initial clipping before refining the finish with the #4F blade. Extra care should be taken when using skip tooth blades on fine coats and around sensitive areas.

Together, these three blades provide a versatile grooming combination for maintaining a Silky Terrier's coat, from close hygiene work to practical body trimming. The coat should always be thoroughly brushed and free from tangles before clipping.
