This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three professional-grade Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10 blade, a #7 Skip Tooth blade and a #5 Skip Tooth blade, making it particularly well suited to Welsh Terriers and other small to medium-sized wire-haired and dense-coated terrier breeds.

Welsh Terriers have a distinctive dense, wiry outer coat with a soft undercoat that requires regular grooming to maintain its characteristic appearance. Traditionally, Welsh Terriers are hand stripped to preserve the natural harsh texture and rich colour of their coat. The included blade combination has been carefully selected for routine maintenance grooming and full body clipping. The #7 Skip Tooth and #5 Skip Tooth blades are designed to feed efficiently through thicker, wiry coats, making them ideal for removing bulk and clipping through denser areas while maintaining a smooth, natural-looking finish.

Two body cutting lengths are included in this Welsh Terrier Set. The #7 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 3.2mm of coat, making it ideal for shorter maintenance clips and practical all-over grooming. The #5 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, allowing you to maintain a slightly fuller finish while keeping the coat neat, comfortable and easy to manage.

Favoured by professional groomers, skip tooth blades feed through thicker coats more efficiently than standard finishing blades, helping to reduce blade drag and improve clipping performance where coats are particularly dense or overgrown.
