Whippet Clipper Set - Cordless Max

Masterclip MAX Cordless Whippet Dog Clipper Set

This cordless dog clipper set is supplied with three high-grade professional Japanese Steel A5 blades: a #10F blade, a #7F blade and a #5F blade, providing a versatile selection of cutting lengths for grooming and maintenance tasks where clipping is required.

The Whippet has a short, fine, smooth coat that lies close to the body and requires relatively little grooming to maintain its sleek, elegant appearance. The breed is generally a light to moderate shedder, and regular brushing with a soft grooming brush or rubber grooming mitt helps to remove loose hair, distribute natural oils and keep the coat looking healthy and glossy. Whippets have delicate skin and very little body fat, so particular care should be taken when grooming to avoid irritation or accidental injury. Whilst the coat does not typically require clipping as part of routine grooming, some owners may choose to carefully tidy specific areas for hygiene or maintenance purposes. Particular attention should also be given to keeping the feet, nails, ears and hygiene areas clean and well maintained. This carefully selected blade combination provides versatility for occasional hygiene clipping, precision tidying and other maintenance tasks where a clean, professional finish is desired.

The #10F blade is ideal for close clipping work, making it suitable for carefully tidying the feet and hygiene areas where required, helping to create a clean, tidy finish where precision is essential. The full tooth (F) blades are designed to produce a smooth, even finish, making them suitable for clipping shorter coat areas when necessary.

Three cutting lengths are included in this Whippet Set. The #7F blade leaves approximately 3.2mm of coat, providing a shorter, neat finish where appropriate, whilst the #5F blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat, allowing for a slightly longer finish with a smooth, even appearance. As the Whippet's natural coat is already very short and fine, these blades are best suited to specific grooming requirements rather than routine full-body clipping.

Favoured by professional groomers for producing a clean, uniform finish, full tooth (F) blades leave the coat looking neat and consistent after clipping. Together with the #10F blade, these three blades provide a selection of cutting lengths for occasional hygiene trimming, precision maintenance and detailed finishing work, where appropriate for the Whippet's delicate coat and skin.
