Whoodle Dog Clipper Set - Cordless PRO

Masterclip PRO Cordless Whoodle Clipper Set

The Masterclip PRO Cordless Whoodle Clipper Set has been specially selected to meet the grooming requirements of Whoodles and other dogs with thick, wavy or curly coats. Supplied with three high-quality professional Japanese Steel A5 blades – a #10F blade, a #4 Skip Tooth blade and a #5 Skip Tooth blade – this versatile grooming package offers a choice of practical pet trims, whether you prefer a fuller finish or a shorter clip for easier maintenance.

The #10F blade is designed for close clipping and detailed work where a short finish is required, including appropriate sanitary areas and paw-pad maintenance. Care is needed around sensitive skin, skin folds and between the toes.

Included in the set are two skip tooth body coat blades, chosen to tackle thicker coats. The #5 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 6.4mm of coat and is ideal for owners who prefer a practical, low-maintenance pet trim that makes regular brushing and coat care more manageable. The #4 Skip Tooth blade leaves approximately 9.5mm of coat, providing a slightly longer, fuller finish whilst still reducing the length for easier upkeep.

Favoured by professional groomers, skip tooth blades are designed to feed thicker coats more efficiently into the blade. The wider tooth spacing allows the clipper to move through dense coat with less resistance, making them particularly effective on a clean, thoroughly prepared Whoodle coat. Skip tooth blades require careful handling, especially around loose skin and delicate areas, and are best suited to users confident in their clipping technique.

For the best results, the coat should be thoroughly washed, completely dried and carefully brushed through to remove all knots, tangles and loose hair before clipping. A heavily matted coat should be assessed by a professional groomer to determine a suitable, comfortable clipping approach.

The combination of a #4 Skip Tooth blade and #5 Skip Tooth blade provides excellent versatility, allowing you to choose between a fuller pet trim or a shorter, easier-to-maintain finish. Whoodle coats vary in texture and density, so the finished appearance will depend on your dog’s individual coat. Both blades produce a clipped style, with regular brushing still needed between grooming sessions. Together with the precision #10F blade, this set provides a versatile selection for regular pet grooming and coat maintenance.
